The main discussion was about the Balearics, but you just threw care homes in because it helped your argument, which has fook all to do with air bridges.

Yeh I must've missed the memo about sticking to one topic mate. A topic I really don't care about btw so have posted very little on. You do know what I posted about care homes is from a report published today and in the news today and related to the title of the thread?

Don't be a twat about it. I'm not interested in your crying. You can post about care homes anytime, that wasn't the debate today. I'd don't like snide comments either, so fook off if you don't like it.

Before you go, how about you give us a list of all the things the government have got right?

Shouldn’t take you long...

Sorry mate, we said no to brother Corbyn. Just as a reminder while you are here though, I'm sure you've forgotten me asking during the election, why Corbyn was more interested in talking about the Tories in his daily briefs, then Labour policy, now we know why don't we <whistle> [HASHTAG]#Russians[/HASHTAG]

I've been reading the comments for a while, all I'm seeing is people that don't like the Tories, so it wouldn't matter if they did do the right thing, they'd still find reason for it to be the wrong thing, or remind us again of the care home failings as if it's become some wininng knock out punch to any debate. A debate that was supposed to be about the Balearics.

Can you imagine Magaluf once it gets up and running again, places like Magaluf are a fooking shhitehole and is the party Island of Ibiza much better. You just know any social distancing will be zero, and although there might not be many cases now, our youngsters without doubt will certainly be brewing a problem for the Autumn.

Do I think it's unfair, yes, do I care, no.

Never been a fan of the Tories for sure, of Labour neither for that matter.. but my abject disgust at how this crony influenced government has handled the pandemic really has little to do with politics ... you have got a bumbling buffoon at the top end who wilfully exposed himself to a virus that medical experts had warned him was highly contagious and who has turned a blind eye to cronies deliberately flaunting rules that him and his government were imposing on the UK general public.

The Health Secretary doesn't seem to know his arse from his elbow and has spent much of the pandemic sitting around on his elbows looking confused.

Many of the decisions made have been disastrous and no attempt to manipulate figures can obscure the fact that we have had the most shambolic response to this pandemic in Europe.

Now I will redress any bias by saying, quite confidently, that if Ken Clarke had been heading up this bunch, I believe our handling of this pandemic would have been one of the best in Europe and not the worst. <cheers>

Look mate we know all that, but Magaluf bruv, come on, you couldn't make up all the crying over this ffs <wah>

Yes, I know what happened in the election, thanks. As a believer in Democracy, I have to swallow it. Doesn't mean I can't occasionally point out that we are now being governed by clowns, spivs and idiots.

I spoke to JC the other day btw, when I bumped into him in Finsbury Park. He looks about 10 years younger. A thoroughly decent chap he is too, in real life.

TBH it’s not about politics for me. It’s about a decision which has been taken to protect our health. It won’t change my opinion on the Tories, there still ****s!
But it seems to me that quite a few on here, using my earlier analogy about having a water leak, would rather we flood the house whilst faffing around trying to find that hidden valve.
My view, which has remained consistent, is go in hard and refine as appropriate.

Why you bitching so much bro, why are you so bothered about the Balearics, was you thinking of going to the party islands to spread your sperm and give us your pissed up pink wino updates, on your nightly bedding powers at the ripe old age of 60?

No fella ... but we were still thinking of driving all the way down to South West France without coming into contact with any other ****er and actually being more socially isolated than we would be staying here ... but the risk that a sudden spike in Versailles might lead to Bojo and the Bumblers imposing a 14 day quarantine for anyone's coming back from mainland France, Corsica or French Guyana is a bit too much of a risk <doh>

PS fair attempt at distracting from the government's latest ineptitude with some personal irrelevance aimed at me ... <cheers>

The thing is Fosse this is entirely your decision and I respect that, along with the thousands who have chosen Spain.
However, you must realise and accept that there is a real risk involved and it could mean you have to isolate on return.
For and your family personally, if this was the case, it may not make any difference to your decision, but as bad as they are it’s not the government’s fault either.

Agree with some of what you say mate ... but this latest decision might well lead to some poor ****ers losing their jobs for unnecessarily having to self isolate for 14 days ... simple testing when re-entering the UK from areas with spikes, with turnaround in 24 hours would avoid that...

You're doing just fine on your own <whistle>

Ah now we are getting to the point of this, self interest <laugh>

Look whatever the government quaratine, you fookers will try and find a way around it, the whole problem with just zoning areas. Do you honestly believe the youngsters followed the lock-down in Leicester, yeah right! They just drove out of town.

Anyway, I look forward to your next holiday pics, and a sparkling array of cheap plonk.
