It’s nothing more than an attempt to try & set a false narrative imo. As we agree, the only number that really matters tells the actual story, and provides the direct comparison with other nations.

Trump tried this kind of angle with his ‘we do more tests, so we find more cases’ beauty. Yeah Donnie, count the corpses mate.

still find it bizarre that PHE decided to use a different counting method to the other UK nations particularly as it will give a slightly higher figure . The PHE method also encourages the people who say that far too many deaths are being listed as Covid .
