In Football, teams that deserve dont always get

That’s the beauty of the game and why we all love it

So once you remove sentiment there remains the mathematics...it’s not even finalised mathematically

So no one ‘deserves’ it

You wouldn’t give the Open Championship to the leader, if it was rained off with 9 holes remaining.

If the league doesn’t complete then of course it’ll be harsh on the RS, but it’s merely an Act of God, and no-one’s fault, it just is what it is.
