I think the transport secretary is going to get butchered by the media over Cummings, in todays briefing. I'd have made the fooking prick (cummings) stand up there himself and answer the questions.

I was thinking that this morning, when I had caught up with the news, that one of the big wicket keepers, would have been fronting the briefing today, but nah, bottled it, and left this poor sod to take the shhite.
He’ll bluster and deflect, and leave the stage open for the prime bullshitters of Gove, Raab and Co to tour the TV and radio studios tomorrow trying to make out that Cummings is father of the year. There’ll be a doorstep clap arranged for him by Weds.

Bit weird that Shapps would start the questions by saying these are chosen by an “independent” polling company and he has no ideas what questions are about to come.
Indeed. The pure brazenness of trying to suggest that travelling 250 miles with your family whilst you suspect you actually have the virus, to go and stay with elderly parents, was somehow within the guidelines back at the end of March when he did this, is nothing more than an insult to the intelligence of the Nation.
It just so happened it was his mother’s birthday btw, and a neighbour apparently grassed as they saw him dancing with his kid in the garden. The entire story makes a mockery of what his partner wrote in the Spectator about his condition at the time as well.
I've had my fair share of arguments on here with people over this, so as you can imagine, I'm on this like a bad rash, because I aint happy about it.
