Not where i am. It ended weeks, nearly months ago. 5 people in the que at greggs today. Not one wearing a mask.
Is that Leeds? Not like that down here, rarely see someone in a shop maskless and when you do they are getting filthy looks from all.

That's the British way - a filthy look, or, in extreme circumstances, a tut.

My experience of public transport in London is that pretty much everyone wears a mask.

Just on the outskirts. Im seeing more maskless on a daily basis but dont get me wrong, the majority wear them. Its just becoming apparant that more are also choosing not to.

It’s very high in the area where Watford and I live. They have asked people in our area to do a surge test. :emoticon-0107-sweat

The US company Innova Medical Group has delivered over a billion lateral flow tests to the U.K. They’re the ones being used for school kids and event (like the Edgbaston test) testing.

The FDA has just told American users to throw these tests away because they cannot be trusted and this presents a risk to health. This might just be a labelling issue (lots of odd claims being made at the moment for a whole variety of drugs and tests, including the new Alzheimer’s treatment), and the MHRA is ‘investigating’.

From The report:-

In its report, the agency accused the company of “false or misleading” estimates of the clinical performance of certain configurations of the test, saying the estimates did not accurately reflect the performance of the diagnostic devices during clinical studies.

The scientific community have been slating this test since day 1 ....and you all know that on here I have put my views very vehemently .."I have called it the "toss-a-coin" test).
Even on their stated figures it was ****.
The diagnostic testing arm of the government advisory committees did not support this test, but only this company Innova could provide the level of testing promised by the government!!

It is interesting to note it was never authorised by FDA, but its use and distribution carried on regardless

Rough news for some businesses but a good call to delay the next rise of restrictions until we have a higher level of vaccination in the population.

Next slide please.
