3 weeks apart according to news...
You may well be right.
Youngest daughter has just had her second shot at 3.5 weeks..

When I was doing immunisation we left it about 12 weeks...but this is a new sort of vacinne (RNA) ...I was doing it with antigen.

But anyway the point I was making is that you need two shots ...so 30 million doses only does 15 million people

We seem to have also bought 50 million doses of the Oxford vaccine, if that works as well that is another 25 million people covered... So 40-45 million could be vaccinated in/ by the spring.

That is really good news

Not through the woods yet, as we haven't got the full safety reports through. But more about,

On the Oxford vaccine, which I know a I know of two contraindication reports...and one was in the placebo arm ( so not associated with the Covid vaccine).

I'm using the reported Covid-related delays to cancer procedures and other treatments as a tenuous excuse for me to share my health issues on this thread - maybe we should have a personal heath thread for this kind of thing?

Following my colonoscopy last Monday, I got the results today and it turns out that one of the polyps that they removed was cancerous. I am now having a CT scan on Friday to see if the cancer had spread and have a follow-up meeting with a Colorectal Specialist next Tuesday.

First-class treatment at high speed.

Sorry to hear that mate but a perfect example of the bi-annual screening catching something you wouldn't have dealt with until it would have been far more serious. Stay positive and catching it at this stage gives you the best chance of beating it, everyone on here is pulling for you...

That's distressing news Stroller. I hope it has been caught early and not spread. Wishing you a speedy recovery, take particular care when getting health support.
