My point being that nobody from any party really has the answers. We look to the experts who have all this scientific data but can all manage at times to disagree?
Regarding schools... I just keep thinking of those children who will miss out. Saying that in a lot of schools around the country groups/classes/years are getting sent home if one person gets it?
Some tough calls ahead for the government.
What do you take from what Heneghan said?I kept looking at JHB red top.![]()
I'm just listening to someone saying how crucial it is to keep the kids at schools as it will affect their futures in many ways if they stay home. tough call to make.Three local schools to me with cases

I heard from many sources on TV/reading that cases 'up north' were flattening out (slowly). I even posted on here saying that the 3 tier thing was working. Now they are saying we should lockdown? I also found the comments of predictive figures of 1000 deaths a day when we have 1-200 interesting and 'shedding' of the virus also interesting. What do you take from what Heneghan said?

TBH Watford I don't think they have that much confidence. They are being attacked from all angles. Damned if they do...Well I have every confidence in them.
Coronavirus: First Briton known to have contracted COVID-19 dies in 'tragic accident'
Connor Reed had been working at a school in Wuhan when he contracted the virus last December.

Carl Heneghan believes the data upon which the government has decided to lock down is inaccurate.
It seems the 'vulnerable' age has quietly been dropped to 60. All over 60s now told to follow previous advice given to over 70s...
Blimey. Was reading this story earlier - apparently he couldn't get over the strict regime lockdown he was subjected to in China (20 weeks!), was suffering for some time with a form of PTSD, and ended up taking his own life. Sad story.
I know. For every expert who says this there's another who says the opposite.
We are in such a mess now, I no longer know what to believe or think.
Totally agree Col. The politicians are the same ... as are the public. For every expert who says this there's another who says the opposite.

Good call mate. I should respond in kind, I find some of this stuff very frustrating and sometimes post without due care and attention. Apologies.I know.
I apologise for my rude reply to you on Saturday, I also apologise to Stan for my impatience and rudeness.
I want to hear these people debate the subject. This is mainly what I’ve wanted for some time. I certainly don’t deny the existence of the virus, it’s the proportion of response I question.
Never do we hear Heneghan debate Whitty or Gupta debate Vallance. The closest we get is Hillary Jones vs Piers Corbyn and it’s farcical.
We need to have a mass (broadcast) debate, with no time limit and when someone makes a point that is central to the formation of policy, it’s hammered out until exhausted.
