Anyway, back to coronavirus. 3 good friends have all tested positive. All feeling not too bad but had slight symptoms. Their tracking and tracking will shut down most of our town!!!

Mmm interesting comments Bob. So you have never joined in with Staines with this ’Grass accusations”? Both you and him have called me worse than an imbecile. Continually accusing me of something I have never done starts to annoy me. I have asked him to show the board proof... Where is it? Either show it or shut up.

Sorry Tram....you’re right, I rose to the grasses snide comments. My apologies.

Anyway my dads been dead for 20 years and been long washed away on the 16th green at West Middlesex Golf Club so he ain’t gonna be bigger than anyone ;)

Anyone want to clarify what Boris said when he misspoke about the Coronavirus restrictions this morning.

I am genuinely so confused now, and Boris has shown me that I'm not the only one

As I said previously Goldie....I believe he is a grass....proof is another thing.
Our friend has accused people of antisemitism many times and when asked for proof he just avoids the question.
Same thing really except I’ll admit I have no proof.....just that some posters on here won’t debate with him because they fear being banned.
Sad really. Anyway, he’s put me on ignore now .

Yup . The white cells are divided roughly into T and B cells.

B cells make antibodies.

Some T (helper) cells help the B cells to make the antibodies.

But there are T cytotoxic cells that can destroy cells that it doesn't like...e.g virus filled cells or cancerous cells for example.

They carry a "memory " too. So these cells are often involved in recognising and early infection...and destroying the infected cells...that is of the mucoid slough that you cough up

Been years since we have banned anyone hasn't it? Last person I banned myself was Queenslander, for a week and he never came back...who remembers him ?

blimey I wish we could inject some of our players with defensive cells so they can destroy all the lapse of concentration cells?

The suggestion was that we should be testing for T cells as well as antibodies. Does that sound right?

Absolutely Woody.
The response is most likely two pronged with both B cells and cytotoxic T cells involved. The effectiveness of Tcyto cells may help to limit the disease...and so we should be checking that...and we will in the vaccine trials. We will be looking to see if the volunteers raise a good T cell response as well as B cell responses.
The way they make vaccines is to provoke both responses by using specific protein, DNA or RNA sequences...that makes the body make the two slightly different but interrelated action

SKY NEWS There have been another 7,143 cases of coronavirus reported in the UK in the last 24 hours - a big rise on yesterday's total of 4,044.

71 deaths have also been recorded - the highest number since 1 July.
