Are you calling The Lancet a science magazine. How dare you! The Lancet is a weekly peer-reviewed general medical journal. It is among the world's oldest and best-known general medical journals. The best medical papers are published there. The Lancet is the best medical journal in Europe and some would say the world. That is official enough for me.

Let me tell you how science works. Scientists do the work and then submit all the evidence to the journal, they send the work and allevidence out to peer-reviewers who assess the paper and ask for clarificartion, check all the data and then agree or disagree about publicaton. This is called peer-reviewing (reviewing by people who actually know about their subject)

So did you read the paper? Did you read the appendix validation.

Beth, I do know pretty well how science works and that is the reason a test has to be "OFFICIALLY" validated. You are just running round in circles here and cannot give any proof because there is no "OFFICIAL" validation - simple as that. I have given you the validation figures for 21 of the most commonly used tests as used, not by the manufacturer but by an independant source. This was part of the information given to the SAGE diagnostic evaluators a few months ago. We do not take manufacturers evaluations, we take independant assessments for obvious reasons.

I did not start insulting any other member here but some people thought I was an easy pray repeatedly insulting me. They called my "prat". "German BuTT" and so forth which is just not my style.

I am an R´s supporter and the first game I attended was in 1984 (3-1 against WBA on a vers sunny afternoon). I am a little disappointed that quite a few people here got mad at me about my views on Corona whereas I had hoped for an open discussion. The only reason why I have started that it is that I would like to show my fellow R´s what they will have to expect. You do seem to be a reasonable person - please stay that way .
