1 will be closest I expect.

I don’t think it’s a bad thing to hear his side publicly if he can do it with some semblance of truth and be questioned by the press freely. However it’s a very unusual occurrence. I’m not sure there’s a precedent for anyone in his position to hold a PM-esque press conference like this.

So people are ****s for going to the beach and flouting the ‘rules’ but Cummings is ok for flouting the rules and doing what he did and it’s everyone else who are ****s (lefty, liberal or otherwise) for pointing him out.......

Sometimes you’ve just gotta step back a bit and think about hypocrisy.

If Cummings is making a statement ....and then taking questions , surely that means he is not resigning or am I being very naive here.

I am worried that we are all here waiting for a government advisor to tell us what he did on his sick leave.
I am worried that we are accepting this man has power
I am worried that this man believes he is that important and powerful that he needs to give a statement

He is just an advisor he is not an elected MP, minister or Prime minister ffs.

I am extremely worried that in fact he is that MEANINGFUL and POWERFUL

No-one elected Cummings

Indeed. Not sure what he’s done to merit this platform but at the same time out of morbid curiosity I’m keen to hear what he has to say for himself. If he was going then surely Johnson would have been the one to share that yesterday. The only caveat to that is that they may know something else is going to come out to make his position worse.

Still think the ‘two fingers up you can’t touch me feel sorry for me cos I’m the victim and enough mugs will agree’ approach is likeliest.
 
Option 6 - I have asked Boris to resign due to lack of loyalty.
Option 7 - I own this country and the journey was nothing more than a 250 mile trip around my grounds.

It's option 1 for me. Probably greasing his shoulders and back so that everything just slides off nice and easily.
