The government or ministers won’t appear on the programme because of piers himself, it’s nothing to do with unwillingness to be held to account it’s because gobshite Morgan, btw a c*nt I could punch all day without a break and not get tired.!!!

As with Newsnight it’s a case of hiding away from difficult questions because enough of the population will rim them regardless of how corrupt or useless they are.

Quite amusing reading through today's posts and seeing the usual suspects foaming at the mouth about Cummings. I personally think he's a total c*nt, however, if my daughter had rang me saying she was ill and couldn't look after her kids they would then come and stay with me, no question. Anyone who wouldn't do that in the same circumstances needs to take a serious look at themselves.

I'm sure the rabid press hounds will nail their prey and then move on to claim their next victim as they do. As I've said before they're all c*nts and the press are just as bad...
Would you go and collect the kids or let the sick daughter drive hundreds of miles to you

My point is simple, Turkish: if you believe passionately in the record of the government that you’re a member of then you should be prepared to argue this record with anybody.

Some may see the government’s boycott of Morgan’s show as not giving him the oxygen, but these are government ministers and elected representatives of their constituencies; they absolutely should be everywhere stating the case as to why their performance has been good and allowing themselves to be put under scrutiny...

...if they believe they’re performing well.

Worth it though as you’re up early to give us the daily numbers update from NZ.
Up late
I would say I was working all night but really work has paid me to binge watch nought's and crosses on the computer

I don't think there has been any new cases here for a few days
Schools open
Pubs open
I haven't bought any toilet paper for months
Still have tonnes of it left
As the pubs and take aways were shut for so long we have eaten a lot better than normal
I have even lost 6 kilos
Not sure how as I have drunk far more beer than normal

when did the government or any minister say they are boycotting the show, and do you have any proof they are, how do we know that the show isn’t lying and won’t let any Government ministers or spokesman/ woman on can you be sure that’s the case, we all know most mainstream media lie and have hidden agendas, until you know it’s fact , who knows.[/QUOTE]

****ing hell you’re actually getting worse. Whatshisname Buckland literally ran from the cameras on College Green this week.

As far as I understand it, no minister has appeared on the show for 3+ weeks, but some have in the meantime appeared on other channels, particularly the Beeb.

Yes, I suppose there’s an outside chance that this is a nefarious scheme by ITV to discredit the government, so you got me there.

I made a fairly lengthy opinionated rant at the government’s performance during this sorry episode and you’ve chosen to latch onto the Morgan/GMB ‘boycott’ comment. I agree that Morgan is a twat, but so what?

I can be a QPR supporter yet criticise the performance of one of the players. In a few instances I’ve wished certain players never donned the hoops again, so I believe it wholly reasonable to slam Johnson’s administration for its current performance without betraying my political beliefs.

Manchester University offering teaching staff choices between voluntary redundancy, pay cuts or unpaid leave in an attempt to save money, which they will lose through a massive drop in applications, especially from lucrative foreign students. Doubtless other universities will follow.

A genuine shame but when you let academics try to run international businesses **** happens. Perhaps it would have made more sense to allow universities to concentrate on offering high quality education to people coming through the British education system or Erasmus, rather than be ‘profit centres’ allegedly about research but actually about prestige and hauling in Chinese cash.
