Shall we play the scratch our head at the numbers game as the ONS released the statistics for England and Wales today for the week ending 01.05.2020
You should all be able to follow this with maybe one or two obvious exceptions;
The figure on the left is the official ONS recroded total deaths for England and Wales that week. The figure on the right is the published figure from our government for the corresponding week. Simple.

The bottom line here is that in the same six week period there were a staggering 47,77o more deaths in 2020 than in 2019. Subtract the Government Coronavirus number for the whole of the UK and you are left with a shocking 23,994 people that died in this period more than died in 2019. Very basic numbers showing a very major disparity. We will never know how many people died because of this virus in the UK but I would bet my last shilling that it is twice the official figure.
