It means it needs retesting. What does that mean, neither positive nor negative?
Either because the test was done incorrectly or that the positive (internal) control within the test has not shown up.
Has she been offered a new test?

I wish you wouldCalm down, you will exceed your daily word allowance!
That's what she's attempting to find out from her boss Beth. All it said was unclear, 2 others in her team of 12 also came back as unclear. It means it needs retesting.

Did that silly cow just describe track and trace for a killer disease as 'an exciting adventure'![]()
Sooooo exciting. What an absolute dickhead she is.It is exciting. Quite the rollercoaster of emotions to see if we can finish worst off in the entire world.
105k tests yesterday. Down from the definitely not massively fudged absolute load of bollocks 122k the day before.

I missed that bit, I was too busy reading Jeff's extensive, exhaustive post.Disappointed no one has pressed her on her previous comments about the lack of importance of testing.
I'm not accepting them Bob. In fact I now know of four friends or colleagues who have lost loved ones to this horrible disease. I do think the Government have made mistakes but most governments have. I think they are not setting out to make mistakes though. They are trying their best. They've done most things with good intention and its a truly thankless task. The fact we have big cities, high density and a multicultural demographic means we have this disease worse than most countries.

None of us are experts on here but could have seriously made some of the logical decisions earlier and more decisive. Some of it, considering the pre warning we had from other countries was just common sense. This virus was rife in mainland Europe two weeks before it started to effect the UK. Our government had the opportunity of foresight and forewarning. Boris had the opportunity to address the scenario but decided it wasnt even worth attending a COBRA meeting.
As for people espousing about football forum pundits being experts on the subject. I have had to live the nightmare of watching my 87 and 90 year old parents sharing an isolation ward in a Banbury hospital with them both having the virus. So I have actually witnessed first hand what was going on "in the field", doesnt make me an expert but I think it gives me licence to make comment thank you very much!
I will do beth. She's at work at the moment. She text my mrs about an hour or so to tell her. We are all baffled.3/12 came back as unclear.
Please let me know...what happens Bob
Her boss presumes it will have to be retaken but knows no more.3/12 came back as unclear.

The CDC in the US recommends testing everyone twice because of the high level of inconclusive results and false negatives (20-30%) with these tests, and if you look at the number of tests administered v the number of people tested (yesterday 1m v 760k) this must have been happening here, the same person being tested two or more times. In fact that would have to be the case for everyone hospitalised I suppose, you couldn’t be discharged until you tested negative for the virus........3/12 came back as unclear.

With respect CCJ, could you just list the many positives from the government ?
I genuinely thought that was the original question that has somehow been forgotten, though it’s pretty far back down the thread.
Just getting ready for work now so I’ll look out for it later.
Not goading just curious as to what is seen as a positive.
