Can I ask how this is a blame game please ? CoVid19 is a natural disease like many others before seasonal flu, swine/bird flu, Ebola, Smallpox, typhoid, the black death. No one is to blame for a natural disease..... it happens.

Yes you can "blame" the Chinese for initially trying to cover up the scale of the death rate, but we in the UK are currently doing something similar to that with limited information about care home deaths and NO information on CoVid deaths in the community. There is no blame in this, please everyone just needs to be adult and accept responsibility and tell the truth.

We, the UK population, are actually pretty well educated and astute so please......

Don't say we are going intio lockdown but leave our borders open
Don't say we are going into total lock down and then anyone who says they are essential can still go into work
Don't say you are going to say we have enough PPE, then say we are going to have some by the weekend and then say it will be here by Tuesday afternoon!
Don't say we will be testing 100,000 a day and be stalling at less than 20,000.
Don't buy huge number of antibody tests from China and then say they don't work

And please do not say in your repudiating press release following the Times article that you were working day and night getting ready for this pandemic and then admit that the PM did not attend 5 COBRA meetings.. Oh yes I have read that often other ministers chair meetings ( even if they chair, it is actually rare for a PM to miss a meeting, they are only called when there is an emergency!). To quote Wikipedia you only have COBRAs "in response to instances of national or regional crisis".

Downing Street attacked the sources and accused the article of being riddled with “falsehoods” and errors”

A spokesman for Boris also hit out at an unnamed source in the article who claimed there had been a “failure of leadership” in Downing Street.

“The two things are not the same.”
“One suggests an adviser employed by the government in No10.”

I'll wait until the crisis is over before investigating whether there is any truth in BJ's denials, his assertions that black is white and vice versa and whether he is the victim or the instigator of fake news.

I agree, I was more than surprised when I talked to him, but as you know there are jobsworth morons out there, he has delivered to same place and has had no problems since I believe, so it has probably been sorted Out to prevent it happening again, but in the transport game it’s anybody’s guess.

So basically your sweeping generalisation that it is happening all the time because of some jobsworth in each hospital refusing to take deliveries of vital PPE because it did not come at the right time turns out to be one occasions you know of and the rest an assumption on the basis of a general attitude how goods-n clerks behave during normal times.

Beth, I do blame china because according to most scientific evidence it originated from there. Rather than being a responsible nation, they have covered it up, like most things in China. When the World needed them to step forward and discuss the problem, what happened... The leadership disappeared and all went to Bejing where no one has been infected yet absurdly the rest of the World has. Anyone who complained was either imprisoned vanished or like that poor whistleblower doctor who died of Covid-19 within 4 hours (yeah right).

They then absurdly tried to blame the US army. That was simply to take attention and responsibility away from them.

No, that's what a few have been hinting at. I can't imagine the PM doing that... however, if he has then he will have to answer for it.
I have said all along Beth where death is concerned that the public can turn very quickly. They never forget. Blair is poisonous now because of the Gulf war and the casualties it caused to British soldiers. If it comes out that Boris has been irresponsible and cost lives his popularity will go as quickly as Blairs did.
Said plenty of times on here that we were ill-equipped to fight in the gulf war. Soldiers sharing bullets and vests. Not enough equipment to go around... ring any bells? If Boris isn't careful he could be heading the same way. I hope he doesn't as that means we will lose lives.
