Good luck Mr and Mrs Bob.My mrs is showing symptoms which is really really worrying. She's not had any contact with anyone but i was working up until last Friday in an empty house with no contact. Driving in my van, I did fill up once on the Wednesday but wore the glove and sanitized my hands. I think if you are going to get it then you're going to get it, just depends on how serious it becomes for each individual. Will keep you posted.
And to add that, infact her sister could have brought anything back with her aswell. It's going to be pretty difficult for many to hide away from this.

Banks are asking for up to 22% interest and personal guarantees (ie we take your house if your business goes under) on the Government backed loans to small businesses during the crisis.

Hmmm....why just post the negative?Business Watch

Government awards contract to build 10,000 ventilators to Dyson. Yes, the James Dyson who took his company (and it’s tax liability) out of the country, along with the majority of its manufacturing and R&D capacity, and his own personal tax home, out of the country in the lead up to Brexit, while publicly supporting Brexit. Mates rates innit. The ventilators have yet to pass medical devices regulation and some parts will need to be imported.

That just isn't correctLet them. In this day and age they will reap their rewards through social media. Presumably they are among those businesses who feel the need to tell their customers by email every 24 hours that they are with us and will do everything to help us to fight this pandemic. The one sector of the financial services industry that has been conspicuous by its silence so far is the car finance sector. There are huge numbers of leasing. pcp contracts and contract hire agreements out there all taken out because business has moved from providing company cars to car allowances yet insists that its employees have to drive a new car of a certain quality because it reflects well on them. Many are now trying to take these benefits away under the pretext that you are not travelling for us now there fore we're not obliged to pay you this. Good luck with that.
Yes I did. I thought it was a pretty daft thing to do as the virus still hits all but one of the HCID criteria. Looks like a technical/bureaucratic move to me, and we probably don’t yet have the data/evidence to say definitively that the overall mortality rate is ‘low’ (let’s hope it is), the criterion that COVID -19 no longer meets. I think the other part of the argument is that COVID-19 has already had its ‘high consequence’ - the government response.Did anyone look at the link I posted yesterday? In short, it is from gov.co.uk and describes high consequence infectious diseases and tells us that 7 days ago covid 19 was downgraded and taken off the list.
Look at earlier posts, I have been trying to be balanced on the business world - good stuff from JCB yesterday. Sadly the banks/finance sector are not covering themselves in any kind of glory. I freely admit that I hate James Dyson, a 24 carat ****, and will take any opportunity to run him down. But as Wats says, if we get the ventilators out of it, at cost I assume, it doesn’t really matter.Hmmm....why just post the negative?
What did Dyson do to sb
Can the biomed department build 10000 ventilatorsGood luck Mr and Mrs Bob. Fingers crossed.
Let us know...we are all family here
The Biomed department at Oxford University have designed and tested a new portable ventilator. They haven't got 10,000 orders like Dyson have. Just saying
