Here in finland is everything very calm, but in the metropolitan area 1,7 million peoples (Helsinki , Vantaa, Espoo and few others) there is a lockdown coming tonight. That means you cant go to there or come from there....for a time being...elsewhere in finland all the restaurants are going to shutdown tomorrow. All the librarys and museums have been suhtdown a week ago...

Cuomo is a very good, but in this case terrifying, communicator. I don’t suggest you look at all of this, but the first five minutes gives a flavour. Could not be clearer on what is needed, the numbers, and the challenge. We are at about the same stage, or at least London is.

First question asking if lives could have been saved if we had shut down earlier?
The Tory blame game is only days away.
Jezza is sitting waiting offering his usual nothing and I am sure after he will strike.

Good to hear about all the new PPE that is supposed to be coming to the Emergency services.......I really don’t feel adequately protected with my paper surgical mask and plastic apron :(

Well I can't tell alot of difference between the amount of traffic on the road today compared with yesterday, people in the west country don't seem to be taking any notice of the lock down. Still loads of traffic going by.

Having seen the morons in London still packed into the tube like sardines, I believe London should be completely locked down, with no one allowed in or out.
Complete cockwombles.

It was from a Guardian journalist.

So the government has a new hospital in London with 2000 beds. :emoticon-0148-yes: excel centre in London. Just looking at the pictures. The place looks massive.
Fair play to all those medical personnel who have come out of retirment to help out. <applause> Hero's.
Also good to hear we have an additional 35k more staff.
