Both attacking and defending are becoming a major problem.

We've conceded two near identical goals two games in a row.

We might aswell not cross it into the box because we never win it, it's just headed away every time.

Huge part of the game.

Again I just look at Dan Burn astonished that a bloke 6’7” is utter trash in the air.

Since the turn of the year we have played 9 games in all competitions
We have had 68 corners and I cant remember 1 goal scored from them
Its shocking really that so many good opportunities are not taken

If we add up all the corners since the start of the season we get a total of 206 corners and I can only remember Lascelles at Tranmere that was scored from a corner (unless someone knows of any other)

We don't mix it up for corners
Other teams know what to expect
And prepare for it

Then we did a short corner and that didn't work either.

I get that you generally don't score from most corners, but we aren't even threatening from them, it's most of the time headed clear or we head it harmlessly wide.

I'm 100% sure Eddie is aware of this and is trying to work on it, but no improvements yet.

We were spot on from attacking corners earlier on this season. Worked a lot of good routines that led to goals with Trippier heavily involved. Maybe teams have wised up and are cutting out supply to him. Just needs working on in training again.

Tripps has been poor by his standards (which are high) for a few games now.

At fault for the last two goals we've conceded, poor delivery from set plays and he's been giving the ball away in general play aswell, still love him and he's class but he's going through a bad spell i think it's fair to say

Everything is great overall I'm happy with how things are going.

Just part of the journey.

Rough with the smooth .

Wilson was more at fault last week for me for the goal, by fannying about on the line and being pulled out of position, and Burn was at fault yesterday.

Isak was ball watching too.

I just think the side in it's entirety is struggling somewhat, so singling players out seems unfair...*I've been doing it tbf

Final distraction, the Bruno suspension, Isak and ASM finding their way back from long term lay offs, limited players levels dropping off and on top of all this a very weird season that has us higher than we “should” be.

It’s all fine margins at the moment but in spite of some on pitch wobbles overall we are all delighted.
