I have some pretty good image software on my pc, so I had my own look at the original and I was shocked.

It is quite clear on my screen (I just wish you could all see it as well as I can) but it is a pasty and not a pie.

He wasn't walking, he was driving home (albeit dangerously with a camera in one hand) ,not stood still on a mountain in winter. And yes, he does have a right hand drive car, he's British (well, Welsh anyway).
In any case, the figure wasn't the intended target of the photo, it just happened to be in there when he checked the next day. He said he didn't recall seeing it as he went past.
Oh, so the fact he was in his car means that that's plausible and this other impossible 'figure' is definitely an alien.
Case closed.
I want to know why the photographer is now in a coma? Has he been "silenced" by the sinister "alien being" having a piss in a bush while eating a pie or pasty walking around at 3.00am on a mountain. Also is the shooting star on the left of the shot actually an intergalactic taxi coming to pick him up? I demand answers.
It's not impossible that it's a person, it's just that it's not a person. No offence, but I wouldn't have bothered wasting my time showing it on here if it was a person, I don't really care whether you believe it or not, the photo is there for discussion. In fact I would encourage people like Tom and others to have a go at debunking it. Prove it isn't an alien in that photo. First one gets a toffee.
He was hit by a drunk teenage driver on his way to work just before Christmas. His daughter barely survived.
In answer to the other stuff; no, no and no. In that order.

Sorry to hear that Sterling, I hope both he and his daughter make full recoveries.

I must admit I don't keep in constant contact with his wife, but his daughter was making a full recovery. He isn't doing so well. In fact it's looking pretty bleak, I spoke to his wife over the phone last month and he had made no progress. He had a bleed on his brain stem and he required a cranioplasty to relieve pressure caused by swelling. I'm no doctor but I know that's not good. I really hope the guy pulls through, but sadly I don't think he will. He's only 33.
The onus isnt on us to prove that it isnt an alien. Prove it is an alien, and I'll give you a whole bag of toffees.
There is as much chance of it being a toffee actually. It is the same as finding the face of Jesus on a piece of toast. You see what you want to see,
Crutch or lamp?

Sorry, the burden of proof thing doesn't wash with me. I'm not expecting anybody to take it at face value, you have to do your own research. If you can, without actually looking into the area, visiting and researching ufology, prove that it's not what I've said it is, then I'd love to know how you did it.
Tragic story. I feel crap now for taking the piss.

In this case it does when we're discussing whether its a person or an alien. I can prove there are 6 billion people on planet earth, I'm asking you to prove there is one alien.
I'd love to know how you can prove that a) there is someone there and if so b) that it's not a person.
Don't mate, how were you to know?
The guy who sent me it, he isn't into anything paranormal or anything like that. When he first got in contact, he said he saw it and 'chilled' him, because it was the first thing his eye was drawn to. He refused to go back up there, even in the day time. Which I found odd in itself, as usually in a landscape photograph you instinctively look top left and then the eye works it's way to the middle.
He went to the trouble of shipping a car from the UK out to the south of the USA???
that was the first thing I asked him. Not just any car, though. 2005 Honda NSX, pretty sweet.
