Off Topic Conscription

National service served its purpose at the time.
It won't work today though due to England being multi cultural.
Totally agree with a previous poster though where we should get all the lazy parasitic scrubbers to earn their money by giving them jobs to do in their neighbourhood.
Problem is though, we have too many fuc@in do folders now!
 
Good Morning Everyone, it isn't often that I post on here but here goes.
We have high unemployment within the age bracket up to 25 years. A lot of the Youth of today can't get or won't apply for employment because they lack confidence
or education.
Our Military Forces are heavily depleted because of the redundancies over recent years. They are still expected to carry out, as well as their Operational Duties, mundane tasks like Guard Duty etc.
I propose that anyone who doesn't have Full Time Employment or at University/ College by the age of 18 will be made to join one of the Arms of HMF. We are paying for them anyway as Taxpayers.
We then further their Education, Train them in a Trade ( after a series of aptitude tests ) and after 3 years they can be given a choice of joining the Regulars or coming back into Civvie Street.
They will have an Education, Confidence, Discipline and a Trade that they will be good at. If they still can't get a job they can be given a Grant to start a Business.
In the meantime, throughout their Sevice, instead of going on Active Duty with the Regulars they can do the Regimental Duties which often gets in the way of a Soldiers Training and subsequent career.
Before anyone rips my idea apart this will need a lot of fine tuning but I really feel it could make for a better life with better prospects for future generations.

I'd rather we opened the country up for anyone that wants to come work here, at the same time we should kick out all the uneducated scum that drags this country down. Send them all to fight ISIS if you hate muslims so much.

My taxes go towards paying for useless scum, born in this country to English parents, who were too thick/lazy to listen at school and gain any useful skills. You lot are the problem, not the 'foreigns' stupid people like yourself are so terrified of <ok>
