Cant see this I'm afraid. We have turned down apparently 8 Million from Liverpool, so I dont see why we are going to accept 9 from you guys, because everybody is expecting Liverpool to come back with 10 Mill. He was also a Liverpool fan as a kid. He is contracted with us until 2014 and allegedly has a release clause somewhere between 12-15 Mill.

Is he worth the money? Not at the moment - nowhere near. You'd be buying massive potential though.
 
In my opinion he's got the potential to be as good as the 07/08 Torres.
 
It's the silly season. I've never seen this lad but there are a lot of clubs after him. We need to sign some real quality to go alongside the likes of the Bosmans and loans (which while I disagree with, we will end up with).
 
If it hadn't been for syd we would know what is going on. Fancy banning our only poster who had a source in the club!!!!!:cheesy:
 
Man U and Liverpool are buying up raw English talent, so why shouldn't we. I'd be delighted to have him, but I just can't help but think we're bidding for people we know we won't get just to appease the fans and give the appearance of doing something positive. A la Rooney going to the MAgs a few years back!
