Spot on, the only way he could get into a premiership side is if his skill matched his physical presence.
Most young players are already showing how good they are skill wise at his age.
The premiership defenders handled him like a schoolboy and he had no nous to outfox them.
No problem with that TVI, as long as we aren't putting our future in the PL on his shoulders.
Hopefully he stays the season at Sheffield Wednesday, will be a different player next season imo, where hopefully we won't be near relegation.. (whether we stay up or not)
Well if we do go down (we won't) at least we know he's proven at that level.
Aint he free to move on next year ? Sure he only has one more season after this. We have to sell or give him a new deal…what would you do on what you have seen?
Signed a 4 year deal in June 2011. He will be a free agent in 17 months time but will be able to speak to clubs this time next year. I think he will return for pre season and Gus will take a better look at him. He will either be sold this summer after that or will be offered a new deal and take his part in the Gus revolution.
Spot on Joe. And it hardly helps our system when he's out on loan playing in an outdated 442 formation playing direct uninspiring football. He's been loaned to sell surely as the players we want to keep will surly be loaned out to the continent where they can get first team football while playing the ball on the deck.
It will go to a tribunal mate and we'll get a fee. Not a good one but a fee all the same. I'm Sure.
