that’s a ****ing magic moment. NG is still making records and stuck it in plenty of nice birds, sounds like that bloke has a hard on for MH
MH was found dead after choking himself to get off, sad ****.

hold on, that perfectly valid and within my rights. Seen plenty on MH and NG

that video is a biased fanboy view of some bloke who choked himself to death.

Have to say, when it comes to the music, Beatles tribute act or not, give me Oasis (or specifically Noel - Liam was the ****ing Ringo of Oasis as far as I can see) for the sheer tunes. INXS were a lame tribute band to the Stones. Oasis wrote tunes with melodies, even if they did nick most of them. Then again, so did Weller.

What Noel said was completely unnecessary and out of order. You are there to collect an award and use your acceptance speech to arbitrarily **** on the guy presenting you with the award! Had their been any beef between them prior to this?
Because if that was completely unprovoked then NG is a piece of ****.

    Is that the point though?
Forced to choose, I would probably pick Oasis over INXS too, but just because you think your band is better, why act like a complete ****?
I mean, I know humility was never a virtue of the Gallaghers, but thats just completely bang out of order

First I want to add, I don't approve of remarks by some people in regards to MH's suicide....but I will ignore them.

However, I think that was around the time, where Paula and Bob were fighting for custody of the kids, so maybe NG was coming out in support of Bob, with such a comment....wild guess, nothing more <ok>

Oh yes, no argument there. Oasis were straight out of the Manchester gutters, no doubt. Beatles tribute act or not, they didn't have the charm nor education of Lennon and McCartney, or Weller or any of their other idols. Good tunes though. Like ABBA without the girls, as I think Lemmy once described them.

<laugh> Lemmy. Absolute class act, that guy.

I got a phone call once from a friend, middle aged black woman who mostly liked Nina Simone and Miles Davis. She’d been watching Glastonbury on telly, couldn’t believe she was actually watching and enjoying a heavy metal act! It was Motorhead.

Lemmy Kilmeister; rock n roll legend par excellence.

Most will copy, rehash. The brits is a corporate sham. If he did that at the Q awards or NME then so be it.

Yeah, they were a bit special, for a time. Oasis Live by the Sea was on telly recently, Southend Cliffs Pavilion. They were bang on it that night.

Bird said to me recently, that Oasis were just a noise. True, but what a ****ing noise.
