But you're now even less popular on Wearside than Margaret Thatcher. *

That's no mean feat I promise. It was hard work I've no doubt. Month upon month, turning into year upon year.

Personally, I'd be honoured to get the inside line on how you made your fortune, to be a fly on the wall of your board meetings, to learn from the master.

No, not you, those smart ****ers who made your money for you.

Because a fair share of his doings have been hilarious<laugh> mainly because of Mag reaction(Coffins n ****e), he's done very little damage to your healthy club, times you were relegated you had well funded strong squads which shouldn't have gone down, but he got you straight back up twice and kept you in the black doing it. Ashley is a Saint compared to Short.

I"m not totally against Short but I think the last sentence sums up his time at Sunderland when a certain Maggie Byrne was responsible for the finale of player recruitment and contracts
Others were also culpable but Short needed to sort the mess out years ago - I think Keane walked cos of her interference. imo Short is lucky(successful ?) in business not in football !!
 
Short has piled his own money into the club, but due to a mixture of bad advice and bad decision making it has failed.. He is now trying to sell the club which is not being helped by dwindling attendances and poisonous atmosphere at home games..
I certainly don't hate Short for his failed efforts, and certainly not in the same stratosphere as to how much I hated Thatcher..

He's a billionaire laying off working class people to chase a few 100k in savings. He's scum as far as I'm concerned fella.

I know he doesn't. You shouldn't need emotional attachment to be decent. He's making the working class people suffer cause he's failed to stimulate the club adequately. But he's alright. No better than a Tory MP imo.

Its worse for me Short is a grade one ****, Maggie had balls of steel, Corbyn would never have let us take the Falklands back
