Just found this: - http://betting.betfair.com/football...ague-whats-qprs-best-side-now-220812-579.html What is revamped QPR's best side? Christian Crowther looks at what QPR's strongest line-up may be as they prepare for the arrival of two more new signings... QPR are believed to be close to adding Tottenham's Michael Dawson and Real Madrid's Ricardo Carvalho to their ranks, taking their summer signing count to an incredible ten. With so many new faces arriving in west London, Mark Hughes will be fielding almost an entirely different team from that which only just escaped the drop last season. The question is what will prove the Welshman's strongest XI? Below is our take on who should make the team sheet at Loftus Road... Formation: 4-5-1 GK: Robert Green The England-capped keeper is by far the safest pair of hands at the club (despite an opening day blunder). LB: Fabio The on-loan Manchester United player has shown promise at Old Trafford but hasn't had a decent run in the team. This is his chance to shine. CB: Michael Dawson We have all seen what a good defender the former Spurs captain is; he has pace, reads the game well and is a towering presence in the air. CB: Ricardo Carvalho A quality performer, the former Chelsea man won three Premier League titles at Stamford Bridge and would offer just the sort of experience QPR need. RB: Jose Bosingwa A little erratic at times, however the Portuguese is still the best right back at the club and is particularly good going forward. LM: Jamie Mackie The midfielder/forward showed his effectiveness last season by notching seven times and has the pace to play out wide. CM: Samba Diakite Signed from Nancy in January, initially on loan, Diakite has the physical presence and all-action style to offer the back four protection in the defensive midfield role. CM: Park Ji Sung Often employed as a wide man for Manchester United, Park definitely has the touch and passing ability to play a central role. AM: Adel Taarabt The Moroccan has so much ability that it is difficult to leave him out and his best position would be just behind the striker in the hole. RM: Junior Hoilett The Canadian has bags of ability and showed an eye for goal with seven to his name in an attention-grabbing season at Blackburn. CF: Djibril Cisse The animated Frenchman has showed his quality in the Premier League with Liverpool and his six goals from eight starts since his January arrival showed that he still has what it takes. So how far could this side go? The obvious drawback with this side would be assembling a completely new back four, but with so much experience, especially between the centre back pairing, they should adapt quickly. Carvalho and Bosingwa have also played together at two different clubs (Porto and Chelsea), which promises to help gel this untried defensive unit together. Although it will take a few games to mould the personnel, player for player the Hoops look as strong - if not stronger - on paper than both Fulham and West Brom, who finished in the top ten last season. Therefore, getting behind this exciting new team to finish in the top half at 3.613/5 is looks an increasingly attractive option.
