As i was here hour ago i was getting the impression, that Dawson was going for the medical about the transfer. Now, an hour later i discovered that Carvalho close to sign us as a loan deal. Mbia is in london and having a negotiations about the transfer. Boruc is verge of signing to us and nobody does not talk about dawson anymore. Whats happenning?
And just think we have 9 more days of the transfer window still open enough to sign another 12 players
£5 is about right for a centre back who played for England last year and has been consistantly a great player for Spurs over the last few years. With regards to whats going on who knows? Its silly season and Mbia etc may be over to talk to anyone but of course he is being linked to us as is everyone else. Bemused by all the concern about the price. Our board are not stupid and would have agreed whether the club can afford to make a bid of this price. Perhaps we should leave the money it of it and just debate the quality and contribution of the player and let the board worry about the finances. I think we are lucky enough to have a board that can be trusted to manage the finances side correctly.
Could be that we agreed a fee and then they doubles what they wanted. Levy did this with Gomes too. Everything was set and then he wanted more money.
