If the stories are accurate, about 94 per cent renewing, then fck the fans too. In these difficult times if you're idiotic enough to not understand what is going on, to not have something better to do with that money, then god help you.

To save money I'm not going.

To the games that is. I wont renew my ST and I'll save quite a bit by not travelling to the away games. After the rubbish we've been served up of late I wont miss it all that much.

So you're a plastic then? Or so a certain poster will think <whistle>

What sort of muppets are running Newcastle. Fancy coming out and saying we are NOT interested in Cup competitions only survival in the Premier Leageue.
It's now obvious that no-one needs buy any tickets to a cup match as it will be a reserve team kick about meaning no revenue. It could well backfire to league games as I think the seperate fan groups could UNITE against A$hley and P45due for bigger publicity.
Loved seeing Sports Direct get slated on BBC Watchdog last night.

It's a ridiculous thing to be spouting off yet again.

In October the team for the LC game against Man City was anything but a reserve team.

Krul, Debuchy, Haidara, Anita, Williamson, Yanga-Mbiwa, Sissoko, Tioté, Cissé, Ameobi, Gouffran
Subs : HBA, Dummett

and the team for Cardiff in the FA Cup - not full strength, but again hardly a reserve team, a team that should have wiped the floor with Cardiff. Problem being that we had just started the poor run and the uncertainty over Cabaye was rife.

Elliot, Santon, Haidara, Tioté, Taylor, Yanga-Mbiwa, Sissoko, Anita, Cissé, Ben Arfa, Gouffran
Subs : Remy, Shola, Obertan

It is - But who wants to watch the reserves next season?

But will it be the reserves next season?
The same crap was spouted off this season, but it wasn't a reserve team that played in Capital One or FA Cup.

How did we do in those competitions again?

We got beat off the winners in one and a relegated team in the other.
My point is that we didn't put out weak teams.

So why does someone keep on spouting on that we don't care or whatever about the cups, and then in actual fact put out a decent team.
Its just nonsense.

We should be used to nonsense by now.
