RIP Dave 'Mr Bojangles' Cummins
Massive Latchford funeral last Friday. Dave died of cancer two weeks ago. I actually knew him before I moved to Latchford, post-divorce. His parents were the first mixed-race marriage in Warrington, so him and his brother Ray had a lot to put up with! He was a great character and wit, and a great dancer (Mr Bojangles). On the merits of my Sinatraesque karaoke warblings, he inducted me into his 'rat-pack'. A great honour. He'll be sorely missed and the world (of Warrington) has lost a great character.
In other news, the family fun day was actually a great success, with no rioting kids or parents
It was a memorial for a guy who died a couple of months ago (didn't know him, but know his brother and sister). The event raised £1200 for St Rocco's Hospice, so all in a good cause. Denice took £2800 over the bar to boot, so everyone was happy. She ran out of ****ing Carling yesterday, though

true,i used to drink that ****e when i was younger as i knew a lot of alchies, we had special brew, kestrel super, tennants super,stella etc lol, don't drink that ****e now days though, irony being i am a pot head nowdays even though my old man is an alchie and a lot of my mates are.
have they changed something with carlsberg by the way? used to drink it and it was ok, had a few last night and it went right through me, constantly pissing which was annoying lol.
