I don't drink anything to do with sweaties. Actually, that's not strictly true. I do love a bloody good single malt now and again. Preferably Ardbeg from Islay <ok>

Innis and Gunn is nice, have lots of varieties, they do one with an Irish whiskey finish which is tasty and means you can barely tell that it's from jock land

If I have whiskey I likes me my bourbons, Jamesons and Bushmills

Few free crates for a forum pal??? <ok><laugh>

He gets a beer allowance of 1 crate a month, as well as being expected to drink on a daily basis. He has his garage piled high with free beer! Fosters, 1664, Strongbow, Desperado's, all sorts of different flavours and special releases. It's like a little off licence itself. <laugh>

Unfortunately, he rarely gifts them out . . . unless there's a party. If we can herd the Not606 cats to a get together I could probably get some. <ok>

says the adoptive yank <whistle>

Certainly don't like American beers either! Carling is basically an American beer anyway- isn't it the same thing as Coors, brewed in America, just rebadged in the UK? I know it tastes like weak horse piss American beer.

If I'm going to drink beer- I want it to have flavor.

Prefer stouts/porters anyway! (most lager is crap<ok>)

Brewdog make some ****ing wicked, very strong, very flavourful stouts

I'll have to look out for them, not tried them! <ok> Don't think I've seen them for sale.

Don't drink beers/wines frequently because it gives me nocturnal leg pains... but occasionally I have to drink one anyway and live through the pain! <laugh>

/ that's why if I'm drinking beer- has to be something worthwhile... not cheap Americanised lager! <ok>

These are def worthwhile, I don't see them in shops/supermarkets. Had one in one of their bars once, was on the expensive side but worth it

I can drink Carling Premier. It's pretty good, but regular Carling is horse piss, as Milk and Tobes recognise!

;)<ok>

I don't give a **** what you think <laugh>

I got in there at about 6.45pm yesterday. There was a bloke asleep at the bar, so pissed that no-one could wake him up. Never seen him before. He was with a bloke that I do know, who's a tosser. He was told to wake him up and get him outside. He managed to wake him and he promptly threw up all over the floor. They finally managed to get him outside and put him on a bench. He promptly slid off that, continued to puke and then pissed himself. I and two or three others are going to start using the Grange more, as Denice has started allowing the wrong people back in.

Don't know where to start with that one. :)
