Saw the vascular specialist about those bites on my leg earlier . **** me. I have to have an op. He only sees one or two cases like this per year. They have no idea what causes it, but it's like a continuous immune reaction and the ****ers won't heal. They have to take flesh away to try and ensure the normal healing process begins again. No certainty it'll work <yikes>
Did he give you any idea of how long before the op and what your physical abilities will be whilst (hopefully) the treatment works as you may need to make arrangements to deal with your changed short term circumstances .

A serious post <yikes> He said I won't be waiting long and I'll be in and out same day. I don't think I'll be particularly compromised, apart from getting the dressings changed, which will probably be quite painful.

ah right
might want to check on your mobility to ensure it's not limited by the op or their insistence on what you can & can't do after the op to ensure your recuperation.

PS got 2 spare wheelchairs in the garage if you need a loan <whistle>

PS...on a serious note, hope you get it sorted buddy <ok>

That's extremely technical of you. Have you considered becoming an immunologist? <laugh>

So do I. I was a tad concerned about the content of the consent form I had to sign <yikes>

raccoons are cool because they look like they are wearing hamburgler masks and also look like badgers but are much cooler than badgers
