Post mortem today. Should find out when the funeral is. I spoke to her partner on Saturday. Apparently, she'd been having some chest pains and had been taking slimming pills she bought on the internet
No. No. No. Never buy pills on the internet. Are they even legal? He might be able to sue. Why buy pills on the internet when you have a national healthcare? You can go to a doc who will give you a legal and safe way to do it? Maybe not slimming pills but if she needed help losing weight he could give her medical advice on how to do it.
I know someone who's had 3 heart attacks like that. incurable alcoholic and it was the coca cola that tipped her over first. some stupid number of cans a day, all the caffeine set it off. she's nuts. anyway.... you can't tell and its all luck of where you are or what occurs when you have an issue as to how fast you get treatment.
Caffeine wouldn't be what got her. A 125lb woman could survive well over 100 cans of cola at once before getting enough caffeine to kill her. http://www.medicaldaily.com/caffein...-will-kill-you-inner-workings-overdose-303906 She was just super fragile to begin with waiting for a trigger if caffeine did it. It's other stuff that is nasty for you in cola above the caffeine. It takes 10 cans of soda daily to even go above max recommended daily limit of caffeine for average adult. (although sounds like she wasn't average to begin with).
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...et-pills-caffeine-levels-300-cups-coffee.html Terrible that mate, what a waste, if that ends up being the cause.
Probably. I would say she might have been close to that number... but then the vodka probably had more to do with it. all i know is what reputedly they told her
A girl of 19 died in Shrewsbury earlier this year after taking slimming pills she bought off the internet. Turns out they contained industrial chemicals which are fatal to humans. Can't understand anyone taking pills which they have not had from a Pharmacy after handing in a prescription. Its the same with so called "party drugs" like ectasy, etc. They are not made in laboratory conditions and you have no idea what is in them. Personally I don't even take painkillers, my body is a temple.....that's why it's normally full of wine!!
I avoid painkillers when I can. The Mrs. is always trying to push them on me but I can't believe they can be completely harmless long term. Indeed paracetamol is linked to digestive problems and ibuprofen to heart disease. Sometimes and infrequently when really needed I take then but try not to often.
Apparently a lot of the diet pills sold on line contain DNP which is an industrial chemical. It has the effect of speeding up metabolism, but often causes the body to overheat and burn up causing death.
I never take tablets unless I absolutely have to. Last tablets I had were tramodol when a broke my arm (3.5yrs ago)
Post mortem result was a massive heart attack, apparently not related to the pills. Still not sure when the funeral will be, but I doubt it'll be this week.
