The makeover was resumed on Monday night. It's now almost complete, bar the pool/darts room. She wants to get the wooden floor sanded down and varnished first. Doesn't look bad <ok>

Last night I accidentally deleted a load of photos from my Samsung Galaxy S4. The consensus was I could retrieve them. Does anyone know how?

The last two phone's I've had have been Samsung Galaxy's. If it is possible to retrieve them then I have no idea how. I'm inclined to say you can't unless you've linked them to OneDrive or a similar type website (backup for photos etc android equivalent to i-cloud)

PS...I seriously doubt you've linked them btw <laugh>

If you posted them on WhatsApp there's a whatsApp section in your galley on the phone so they'll be in there.

Moved the comments here since he'd asked the same question in this thread and I'd already responded

There are several free programs (I hate to use that spelling) on the web that you can use to retrieve lost photos.
Just google "recover lost photos" or something like that and see what comes up. You might have to overcome your fear of IT to use them though. :)
Alternatively, get someone who lives in the C21st to help you.
Word of warning: if you keep taking more photos before you recover the old ones you run the risk of overwriting the files, then they truly will be lost- unless you've backed them up like Greez said.

I've done that google and broke out in a cold sweat when I got the results <yikes> The photos I'm concerned about aren't backed up. They were taken when I was in North Yorkshire with my eldest. I was trying to delete ONE photo of Denice for a free pint - she looked ****ing awful, but the lot went out of that folder. I'll get one of the girls on it <laugh>

I can't remember where I was asking about sound bars. I made the purchase on Saturday. Panasonic 2K internet ready TV and a Denon sound base (telly sits on top. The sound was very good and bluetooth for the music on y phone <ok>

It's up and running - well pretty much <laugh> The soft twat who installed it didn't leave the manual for the Denon. It has 5 different sound 'modes', but we can only find two of them so far. It doesn't have ITV catch up as an app, or the channel 4 version. I'm sure they can be acquired. Also couldn't work out how to pause BBC i player when I wanted a piss [HASHTAG]#noadverts[/HASHTAG] .

Did you turn it off and on again?
