Also, was I the only one expecting this to be a thread about some dude who is a cross dresser that frequents the cheese?

There is a slight possibility this is nsfw.

There is a strong possibility this is the worst song you've ever heard. Perfect for the cheese.

Don't know about you, but I rarely get the opportunity to use my sense of smell when identifying people.
Dogs' eyesight is relatively poor at the best of times, and way behind their senses of smell and hearing.
Perhaps the wig was made of Fellaini hair clippings. No wonder the dog bit.

Sure you do. Maybe not most people in most circumstances. But if you smell tobacco it narrows if down to smokers for example. Maybe you might occasionally recognise a fragrance used.

Most long-term couples recognise the scent of their significant others and can detect it on clothing they've worn, etc. I'm sure to a small subsconscious degree we all use it somewhat even if it isn't our most common means.

I didn't want to get into an argument over it.
Of course we all use every available clue to identify things, but smell is much lower down the list for our species whereas it's a primary one for dogs.
I'm certain a dog in the dark will recognise someone from their unique odour way before their appearance came into play. Perhaps its olfactory cells have been burnt out from the smell of dope and stale beer.

That and it's had to endure the smell of peanut butter mixed with denices fanny so many times up close... His nose probably is burnt out.
