Was having a few pints in there last night with the bloke that's recently started coming in. Bar the fact he's a manc, he's a nice enough lad. Teaches at the local catlick high school. We put a couple of quid in the jukie and he had first dibs. He's making some progress on the music front, but still needs educating extensively. As his tunes were coming on, a pretty serious domestic ensued between Denice and her (ex) feller. As the row reached its height, the tune playing in the background as her feller turned to leave was "Say hello and wave Goodbye" by soft Cell. ****ing awful tune, but hugely appropriate
Used to drink in a pub where the landlord was into country & western music. There was no jukebox just a system behind the bar. The music was piped throughout the pub, including the toilets, whenever one particular regular went to the gents we used to ask the landlord to put Shania Twain "That don't impress me much" on. The guy who went to the gents eventually twigged we were winding him up, but it took him weeks to realise.
I fell I stepped over a style with my daughter on my shoulders on Sat and jumped off but skidded on rocks and twisted my ankle. Couldnt walk Sat or Sun and its really bruised Got stung all over my arm as well, made sure she didnt fall off my shoulders by keeping my back straight as I fell but got a bad back for my troubles with that as well
Sorry to hear that dr. Hope RHC is ok... he will just have to give up the carling if he's done it again
