I am not and could never be BTW, one of those people who will ever wish the barcodes well in a game. No matter what the reason, even if it meant us winning the league, I will never wish them well.

If them winning meant we'd be champions, it would tarnish the whole thing for me.

So, without any shame, I'd like to cheer on the Reds this afternoon and hope Caroll & Henderson have blinders.

Walk on Liverpool.

I sincerely hope and pray Liverpool absolutely stuff them today.

I have no affinity for Liverpool, but I will be hoping they win today...

Never will my hatred for any team out way my love for mine, but I think you all expected that reaction.
 
I want Newcastle to win or draw tbh. I wanna finish as high as possible and Newcastle beating Liverpool keeps the 1 point gap!
 
With you on this one Cest it would stick in the craw even thinking about supporting them besides I don't have a Chav uniform or one of them baseball hats that are far too small for your head. Best result for us would be a draw and lots of red and yellow cards thrown in.

That's a little disingenuous Syd to be honest. At no point did I ever say, or intimate, that my hatred of them overshadowed my love for Sunderland and I would have as a guess that's the case for EVERY Sunderland fan.

That doesn't mean I cant wish ill upon noocarsel at every juncture though.

The two are not mutually reliant.

I dont give crap what Newcastle do, as long as we win a trophy before them, they can be top of the league at xmas and blow it, top 5 year after year, doesnt bother me at all.

So on that I want a draw today, or a Newcastle win (I cant see us catching them now. but its still possible), but i do want us to finish as high as possible. So if thats them beaten Liverpool, then I wont be gutted if they do (I wont be cheering them on though).
 
I hope to **** that those awful scouse twats do not win today, i really dislike them. Their supporters are the most deluded in the country, constantly thinking that they deserve to be in the top 4 due there history. I hope that they get smashed today. Sorry
 
I think I have too many relatives and friends who are Mags to 'hate' them, however I do enjoy them getting beaten, especially if we are doing the beating. Lots of texts and calls fly around at derbies after black Sunday I pulled the plug on my landlines for a few days and did not respond to mobile calls if I recognised the call was likely to be on a wind up.

The match today...it is a difficult one, generally I would like the "pool to win, but if we are to get ahead of Liverpool in the league we probably want the skunks to win. Then again do I want Caroline to score, he is a donkey, but a hat-trick for him would be fun.

The famous Len Shackelton quote comes to mind of course...3-3- draw then with Caroline getting a hat-trick, he says he will not celebrate a goal but if he gets 3?

On a similar theme it would be somewhat ironic if Villa went down, would it not!

just to clear it up im not here to support newcastle i lost a bet quite awile ago (infact it was halloween 2010) and if i lost i whould have to go to a newcastle game in full newcastle kit and scarf...however i am supporting newcastle because i want the to do well

Cest, I don&#8217;t hate Newcastle fans, some of my loved ones (in-laws) and many of my mates are from the dark side; I am much more mature than that, I just have an irrational hate of the club.

In the sixties my Dad used to go to Sunderland one week and Newcastle the next, I refused to go to the dark side and only went to the Sunderland games with him.

I say an irrational hate because I want them to get beat every week irrespective of the circumstances and would love to see them go out of business.

COME ON LIVERPOOL!
 
Monty, I despise the club and the vast majority of their moronic in bred followers.

I too have family and friends who support them and of course I don't despise them but I'll tell them all quite frankly a despise their club immensely.

I see nothing at all odd or wrong with that at all. I loathed them when they were ****e, when they were good under Keegan and I despise them now under Pardew.

If they were in the conference league, I'd despise the ****ers as well.


I just don't like them. Is that kind of coming through.
