SShhhhh, nobody tell the mags, let them have their bit of fun this season

That's it lads, lets face it, being a Sunderland fan you need a sense of humour...

Oe of the things MoN does provide above all others is the credibility and status he carries with him. He is a well respected and admired manager by all walks of the game and will give SAFC some much needed media friendly PR as well as a terrific man manager on the pitch.

This is just such a brilliant appointment I could ****ing scream.

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

There, thats better. Lol

he's not your manager yet...?

Wait till you see him at the press conference tomorrow. I've told you before, never doubt the Cests connections. I'm handsome, witty, suave, well hung and well connected bonny lad. The exact opposite of you to be quite frank.

He's a famous bottler, don't forget!... Oh and collymore is a confirmed dogger

Bottler my arse daft lad. One thing for certain he doesnt owe Short half a million in gambling debts and he wont try to grope any of our players wives on the QT. As for Collymore, have you seen him doing it recently? You sound like a bit of cock watcher if I'm be totally honest.

There is enough material in the above shenanigans to produce a bellicose laugh from even the most laconic and miserable of individuals it is a gift of laughter that keeps on giving....... ffs sports direct arena no more st ja mess park....priceless..

The problem heavy boy is at heart you know that fat mike and co cannot be trusted to run your club...I know you happen to be playing well ay the moment but do you really think it will last...ffs ashley will sell your best players next summer and rely on his serf to try to identify some more low cost product that he can make a profit on the following summer...its a business model which has merit in the world of sportswear not football..

Yes Sunderland fans a have a great sense of humour but most of the priceless material has been coming from an emporium located juxtaposed to st james park and i have a feeling its a large seam and they have just scratched the surface.....even google maps are in on the act..http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl please zoom in on the sports direct arena..no need for viagra there then....titter ye not

LOL, good post

If I had the choice at the moment of 11 points + MON + Short and Quinn or 26 points + Pardew + Ashley and Labia I know which one I would take....I like to take the long term view.
As I said at the start of this thread, let the mags have their fun this season, I don't think its possible to catch them this year. You never know though, who knows what Ashley will do in Jan to **** them up.

Even with everything you have mentioned and everything that follows nufc, just look where we stand now and think about how that makes Sunderland look. You must have to wonder what the **** you have to do to get it right.

Get a decent manager, like MON. If he does sign I still think you will finish above us but by a lot less than 15 points, a lot less and then next season, who knows.

This season isn't over yet like, you never know in football. I'm not counting any chickens.

You just dont get it do you......your like a rabbit caughters in the lampers torchlight..you are mesmerised by a good run of form.......just wait till ashley pulls the trigger.......rabbit pie anyone ...its not a sense a humour that you need its a reality pill......oops i forgot you may be past the point of no return.. is there any limit to the delusion that exists around the hellmouth that is the sports direct arena..i think not

Sunderland are at such a low point that something said by the mentally ******ed stan collymore has them absolutely buzzing <doh>

In all honesty, I'm gutted that you're getting O'Neill, he's a quality, quality manager. But come on lads, be sensible, you've got a lot of catching up to do to Newcastle and Martin O'Neill isn't just gonna walk in and wave a magic wand, it will take time to close the gap.

Take a chill pill mate. We are fully aware of what Ashley is all about. As for getting blinded????? Do me a favour. All we heard was second season syndrome this and second season syndrome that. We aren't going down this season, not even looking over our shoulder. We have improved on last season already where you on the other hand....... Well you ever heard the expression "you can't polish a turd"?????

you just dont get it! keep inflating youself marra...the bubble will burst eventually!and you know it!how can you be so deluded?you are beyond help mate! are there more ashleys gimps that have the same views as you? sad fool!Ashley is taking the piss out of you and you are saying ooh yeah more more more!

When you analyse anything its best to start from first principles and when you look at ashley 99.9% of the footballing world think he is a complete tossa...lambias...not good enough to be a tossa (pond slime)..so you have two gimpoids at the helm of your club who apear to do stuff deliberately to piss the fans off...and long may it continue.Your only saving grace is you apear to have a decent bloke as a manager and a decent scout and eleven good players.but getting back to first principles you
have two gimpoids at the helm with the manager trying to keep things together and thats not the basis for long term sucess..wait till next september and see who you have left ...i think your only hope is if gimpy sells to a sheik ..but knowing your club it will be the bloke made redundant from the news of the world.

Yes, for sure, the gap will take time to close but, it will close.

You are playing well, fair play to you, in all honesty did you really expect to be where you are now? i doubt it. You are punching above your weight so enjoy it while it lasts. We have been performing well below what we are capable of, that will change, yes it will take time to change but it will change. I reckon we'll be very close to each other in the table come the end of the season.
