Just a thought lads and lasses but what kind of impact will Cabaye's exit have on his best mate Debuchy..?
I hope it's a case of 'business as usual' and that his head doesn't drop and form dip.

I think he will be disappointed but he is a grown man so I'd hope he has enough about him to keep doing the business. I could see a summer move to PSG though <laugh>

If it affects his form then he's not the player I thought he was. Very few players get to play alongside their best mates, just like very few of us get to work alongside them. I expect him to get on with playing and to keep playing to the same high standard, and if he really is an international class player then that is what he will do.

Joking aside, this was probably all part of MA's plan when he bought Debuchy for the price he did. Knowing that Cabs was a great way to pull Debuchy in, whilst also knowing that he'd get big offers for Cabs, there was always a chance of selling both for a tidy profit. All speculation of course , although HSN sources believe...

Exactly, if I have to participate on here with complete losers like you ITHTK, then he can bloody well play alongside multiple international footballers at a NUFC. No offence. <smooch>

It may well have an affect on him but, he's a professional and getting well paid for it.
Its not as if he hasn't seen players change clubs in his career.
I think the bigger question is whether or not he starts agitating for a move himself over the next few months.

The impression I get is Ben arfa just pisses people of ( no evidence just a guy thought random.

I feel a bit ill. We actually agree here. I reckon HBA is just an annoyance to most. Those photos the on the official website the other day suggested Santon likes him though - a bit too much (mounted him if you haven't seen them)

You are only human and remember I am cock of the north.
Look at the video with him fighting diaby when they were younger

I personally think Debuchy loves it here. He'll definitely be here for another 18 months minimum IMO.

I tend to agree with this. I think he's a bit more settled within the team now and in recent weeks/months the fans have shown their appreciation of him, so I would like to think he's happy playing his football with us.

If he wants to move on just because his best mate has moved on, then really, he can just go. I'm not sure I want someone at the club who only wants to play at a club their best mate is at ..!
