Saw that Dai - both Dalman and Choo have rubbished it.

Still, no smoke without fire and by the look of their game today, they need someone up front.

Watching today we are thin in midfield if any of the 3 get injured. Halford & Tomlin not able to cover Ralls, Damour or Gunner. Only O'Keefe really is cover.

City need to get cover in definitely in this area before window shuts.

Maybe also a left back for cover?
 
Looks like he has a few to choose from. Hull would be the likely destination as they are well in funds after selling some of their most valuable assets and the Warburton Scottish link could put Forest head of us.

Mind you that scotch winger Forest signed over us is doing well.
 
They've also just signed Bridcutt for their midfield. Don't know if he's gone off the boil this past couple of years but he's someone I liked when he was at Brighton.

He would have been a great option to have in the middle of the park if the Gunnar/Ralls/Damour set up was disrupted through injury etc.

3 years is a long deal at his age - 32. Hope he justifies this but looking good at present.

Agreed re: Gunnar. In the last year of his contract. I suspect he will hold back until we have a good idea of our destination in 2018/19. Can't blame him. I think he is now our longest serving player.

I see Meite has gone on loan to Crawley until January. Hope he gets game time there to show what he can do and justify our faith.

Now where are the takers for Noonie, Pilks, Declan, O'Keefe and Gonzo? Need to move on 3 or 4 of those to free up wages for a good midfield signing, probably a Prem loaner.

Got to be more tempting if they stump up the figure Colin mentioned. A top 10 club rather than relegation fodder or another Championship club.

In reality £20m would probably get him but I hope not.

If it were to happen Colin could be a lot busier in the last week of the window than he planned.

Enjoyed it when he got sent off last season when we mullered them:emoticon-0148-yes:
