Wonder why the thai military goverment have blocked the mail, yet all the other rag sites i can get.

The government is run by a bunch of lefties.., I've cut and pasted it for you :)
Basically French guy won gold and then was stripped for taking his shirt off to celebrate on the home straight

Mahiedine Mekhissi-Benabbad took his shirt off in celebration before he even finished his race, and was then disqualified.

The French athlete was competing in the 3000m steeplechase at the European Championships. But before the race had even ended he removed his shirt in celebration.

The officials failed to see the funny side and the 29-year-old was shown a yellow card for his troubles. Worse was to come for the Frenchman, though, as he was then disqualified completely.

Spain protested and claimed he should be disqualified

France appealed the decision but their appeal was rejected
Yoann Kowal promoted to gold medal position

Harsh. No-one wants to see his skinny body, but to take a way a gold medal is somewhat unkind.
probably because he gained an unfair advantage by being more aerodynamic, same as Legia Warsaw did by playing an unregistered player for the last 5 mins or so of 2nd leg when they wre only 6-1 up

I watched it live and Steve Cramm called it straight away and couldn't believe what he was doing. The rules clearly state that he has to be showing his number when he crosses the line, and by removing his shirt with the number on he was going to suffer..

Yup, no sympathy with the daft French twerp, whatsoever. Total idiot.
