Edit: Just checked, born in Liverpool. Close enough or some tenuous welsh lineage? It's worked before.

 

Born in Liverpool but his name is very Welsh sounding, afterall we all sang in Wales.
But yeah, Gunter had a mare of a game.

 

Its Estonia. Easy game. Its the games after that could be the issue.

Gunter did have a mare but there were worse and Ben Davies was no better.

 

Davies didn't give away a stupid penalty and was more effective defensively. Neither were good but Gunter showed why he is in Div 1.

Agreed on the next round of games. We need our best players fit or not suspended for those.

Afternoon all.
So this evening we see the next part oif what is hopefully Wales journey to the World Cup finals. I know many see the game as "easy" but I would advocate caution. At the end of the day, it's 11 v 11 and although on paper we should be too strong, Estonia did manage 2 goals against Belgium (though conceding 5). So no complacency before the game and if we do win, no undervaluing the victory. I'm sure neither of these will be happening with the squad.

Wales have Ampadu, Roberts, Cooper, Wilson and Rondon available for selection. Regretably Ramsey still recovering.

Hopefully the good people of South Wales will be out in force.
