It's not really a football pub, there are very few Football pubs (if any) in that area.

There's been a few Rangers fans on this thread saying they drink in there as well though. I'd guess it's neither as doubtless someone would have been scoring points if it had been a club specific pub.

I see. So the rozzers were keeping the eye in the sky on them when things took a turn for the worse.

I thought that story might crop up if it was true. Don't know how true it is though.

Do you think the GB wear a uniform? Maybe "Your Mate" is right and some of them do drink in the Clutha, (I daresay some of them actually drink in pubs) and even if some of them do drink in there it's far from a Celtic Pub - which seems to be what you or "Your Mate" are suggesting.

What is your point? You don't actually have one, hence <doh>

I wasn't suggesting anything. I simply said I heard a few members of GB drink there and as people on here have commented a few Gers fans drink there too.

I suggest you calm yourself down wee man and stop getting worked up about a simple comment.

In fairness I certainly interpreted it as a perfectly innocent comment - you're slipping <laugh>

If there had been any GB members in that pub I'm pretty sure the news would have filtered down to a few forumites and some would have been only too delighted to post about it!

That's exactly what it was, an innocent comment and simply passing something on that I had heard.

Some people just carried away on here with the content of my posts.

Gambol asked if it was a Celtic or a Rangers pub.

    You answered:

See, you said "a few green brigade members drink there", nothing else, no mention of Rangers fans drinking there until you were challenged on it. So what was your point? The question was "was it a Celtic or a Rangers pub", instead of saying that you don't have a clue (which would have been the truth) you provide pointless hearsay evidence that some GB people drink there.

Great analysis, again I suggest you relax wee man. It was simply an innocent comment, no need to fly off on one.

The Clutha was a pub that didn't really concern itself with football Gambol. It was a music venue primarily with live bands and open mic nights. It was frequented by both Rangers fans and Celtic ones.
