No,not at all just if you had been there today you would have seen for yourself how poor we were.I would never question anybodys loyalty on here as I assume we are all die hards.

I sincerely hope Hughes hasn't "lost" the dressing room already. That would be disastrous!!
Not sure though, as a lot of these players have played under him before and surely wouldn't have signed again if they didn't like playing for him? Also, the ones from last year certainly put it in for him during the run in!
Something seems very, very wrong. Traore just couldnt be arsed to do his job. Youd have thought hed have been busting a gut to try and keep his place. We look like weve never trained together and theres zero leadership shown by anyone.

i watched all the game and that was what i thought all the way through , was not just traore though, the team in general had zero urgency in there play or commitment . It just did not seem right at all...

Traore left his man unmarked for their goal, and for another one of their chances. Maybe he was always carrying a knock? but then you'd wonder why we started him at all.. Strange.

i have sat next to someone at games when i thought we played crap and he thought we played well,so in my opinion whether your there or not holds less water than granny's under garments.i'm not digging anyone out here but i now live in America and like most only have streams for games, but i bluetooth it onto my tele from my laptop.

usually it gives me a better perspective but obviously being there supposedly does.if your at the game you don't see everything unless your an arachnid with 100 eyes as you could be watching one player playing a 70 yard rapier pass and miss the striker running offside.if you want my opinion we have to be more objective and constructive with our opinions and before you dig me out i'm as guilty as anyone else in the past of allowing passion to over take common sense.

we are all different (thank fook) but in the same breath all the same as we all have a common cause, five years ago i put my fist through a bus shelter i got so annoyed with rangers thats how deep my passion runs.since then i find a few beers takes care of the anger and my wife helps too <badger>

Harry Rednapp seems to be twiddling his fingers and doing crappy commercials at the moment!....just a thought if things get worse

I think even getting a point wasn't positive as it puts Hughes in a false sense of security . We didn't deserve a point , we didn't create a single decent chance in the game .With the players at our disposal we should be looking at points from the next few games ,but playing like that we'll get slaughtered . What strikes me most is the total lack of confidence being displayed by most of the players . Someone also needs to tell Hughes that long ball 'hoofball' doesn't work . The game today requires you to pass to someone in the same coloured shirt. We are still the worst in the prem at this .
I dont think Ive seen a single positive comment about our performance, the only positive thing is somehow we got a point.

But it's fair to say there's no smoke without fire, and it makes perfect sense that we'd have inquired about zouma/heinze/mbia/khader-thingie/that greek kid/samba etc. as all the summer reports suggested. We all knew we needed centre backs, as did the management. I think what's happened is they've looked at the fixtures and thought "hmm, we're only playing Swansea and Norwich before the window closes.. We'll probably beat them with our current side anyway, so we might as well hold out for the best CB avilable for a reasonable price and not rush a purchase". To be honest, i think that what we'd have all thought too. It may still end up being a wise choice. If we get a better CB than we would have managed earlier in the window, we might have forgone 5 points now...for earning a lot more throughout the rest of the season.

Totally agree:emoticon-0137-clapp

If this is the case then it's a dangerous game of brinkmanship. What if we can't find any higher quality players or can't get any to agree terms in the few days that remain?

I lay the blame firmly at the door of Mark Hughes. It is common knowledge that I don't rate him, and never have. He has always managed to punch above his weight as a manager, **** knows how, but he has. Watching the game at LR last week (I was there BTW) he appeared to be as clueless as the title of this thread suggests and yesterday appeared no better (I wasn't there but watched a live stream). If some of us have no confidence in him, think how the players must feel.

Now for the tin hat......I think Hughes should be sacked. Yes, I know we are only 2 games into the season, but the facts are; he has not won a game away from LR, he has had ALL pre[season to gel a side and hasn't managed that, the substitutions he made last week were appalling, and he doesn't seem to know who he is going to play in what position from one week to the next. Those are just for starters. The sooner we get rid of him the better. Right, now I'm off out for an hour or so, so you can all assassinate me. But I will be back!!!

Yeah,I agree with nearly all of that Shefford but I dont think we should sack him.We have had 4 years of manager after manager and thats half the reason we are where we are. There is no nucleus to our side and never will be if we keep sacking managers.I think the club should stick with him good or bad.

I dont think we can sack the manager after 2 games but he deserves to be under pressure
If we struggle against Walsall and go down 5-0 at City he will be up against it from most of us, especially if we hear about unrest in the camp
I would say if we only win one league game from our first 10 then it is maybe time for him to go
