Their turnover is only £17m and they have made a loss of around £2-3m for most of the last five years, leaving them with equity of £2.5m in their last accounts even after their investors wrote off £50m of debt. So they look bankrupt after that fine. They seem to own their stadium though and are planning a 25m redevelopment.
I can't see them filling our stadium or even close except possibly for matches against Harlequins or Wasps and European Cup matches. But it's a loose change amount for Levy to buy them unless there are covenants attached to the debt right-off.
But they win trophies.
Maybe we could re-name them: Sarrie-Spurs

Wonder if the fans fancy leaving Yorkshire and Lancashire......or is it nice day out in London?

Trippier quoted:

"Sometimes I feel that I was selfish in the sense that when I was really struggling with injuries I didn’t maybe open up to the manager and say: ‘I’m injured’. As players, we don’t want to lose our place.

“That ended up damaging me because I was getting murdered on the pitch. I was making silly errors.

“Maybe I should have taken a step back and said ‘I’m struggling’. But I just wanted to play.”

No wonder he was sold....

The fact he said this a couple of months after he blamed everyone at the club other than himself for his woes only serves to strengthen Poch's hand

...at least until he starts Wanyama against West Scam

I'm curious about West Ham. They started well but gone off the boil. Are they saving it up for us? Or will the rot continue (I hope!)?

Flappy Handski got injured and they've struggled badly since.
Their league record changes completely based on that one player.

Fabianski in goal this season: P: 7, W: 3, D: 3, L: 1. That loss was to Man City on the opening day.
Roberto in goal this season: P: 6, W: 0, D: 2, L: 4. They also got beat 4-0 by Oxford in the cup.

David Baddiel to pipe up in 3...2...1...

Let him come forward, and suffer death by stattery.

Questions I would have liked the participants to have been asked :

1. From which opposition clubs have you heard anti-Jew chants, even before you have
have chanted anything using the Y word ??

2. If Spurs supporters use any chants with the Y word, which opposition club
supporters do you believe are more likely to respond with anti-Jew chants ??
