The Wolves match might change again, depending on Champions League fixtures.

Sadly we once again resisted the temptation to give Harry Winks the number 40 shirt...

Big compliment to give Winks such a prestigious number. Really hope he makes my criticism of him look ****ing stupid this season, I’ve been harsh on him but it’s because I know he can be so much better.

Should’ve definitely had 40 though. Would’ve been a great marketing ploy for him.

Is this Poch’s way of saying we don’t need a CM.

I’ve been so critical of the lack of signing a new CM. I would absolutely love for Winks to stay fit all season and become the player that fans were desperate for us to sign.

Yes and no, one can imagine the likes of Alan Hansen, Ian Wright or Alan Sheerer saying 'he was caught sleeping there, he certainly has the right shirt number'. Some of these pundits think they are so fekking clever, but in fact they make the likes of Nigel Farage look intelligent.

They'd get bored of that after a couple of weeks and just revert to hounding various centre backs or goalkeepers who make two or three howlers in the space of a few weeks (barring the centre backs and goalkeepers who make two or three howlers in the space of a few weeks that happen to play for the anointed clubs, then that gets edited out unless it leads to a goal...)

Premier League Christmas fixtures:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45837741

"Tottenham are the only team in the top five to play on both 23 December and 26 December."
Shortest time between first and last fixture, barring Everton.
Standard stitch up and I doubt the club will even mention it.
And Evertons other game is at Burnley...... almost down the road compared to the journey from N17 2 days before Xmas! :steam:

PL fools.

We all know Xmas is when the Pochettino fitness regime kicks in.
If they wanna mess up Spurs, they needed to make us play all
the Xmas fixtures on consecutive days.

I trust the clubs involved will be harshly punished for the inconvenience...

I can remember when clubs played on the 25th and the 26th. ("Men were men in those days!")
The main thing I remember from our last few Boxing Day games is how
a.) We always seemed to play Fulham
b.) They always tended to be 0-0 draws
c.) Both teams played like they had too much to eat the day before and were one mistimed challenge from unleashing the most brutal fart

It was always very tough on the travelling fans.I wonder if this caused friction at home.....and divorces?

Silly me watched 3 games in a day! I'm feeling much better now!

BIG ask to have new WHL elf n safety + ad approved
