Sounds like someone to make sure that the administrative side of the game is covered. Probably quite sensible, given that a relatively minor ****up could be disastrous. Ajax forgot to register Sebastian Haller in their Europa League squad last season, for example. Their record signing and they couldn't play him because someone's a silly ****.
Important roles include making it abundantly clear than there is no mention of a "gentleman's agreement" in the contract Where there never has been at any point in the history of football, but pundits love dusting that chestnut off every summer...
Who was it Leicester signed a few years ago when they were a few minutes late registering and he ended up sat in the stands until the next window?
Did anybody else see this? It seems absolutely insane. Every other source I've read have Spurs as the fifth or sixth biggest club in the PL. please log in to view this image https://www.football.london/tottenh...ham-liverpool-premier-league-richest-18167810
A lot of that value is tied up in land and property though. In terms of actual resources to buy and pay players, which is what we mean most of the time when we say ‘richest’, we can’t compete without the fans and events in the stadium.
Totally agree, everything is distorted by London land & property values. Someone in London could own a house valued at £2million and have a job with an income of 50k. Someone in Scotland could have a similar house which would be valued at £300,000 but an income of 100k.
I'd say The Lunatic Fringe have been saying the THST are ENIC's puppets for years now Seriously, they need to learn some new vocabulary
Article dated April 2020 so over 15 months out of date. I guess different information would be given now.
I've put several thousand hours into Football Manager, so I'm sure I do Anyway, about how our transfer strategy involves buying a bunch of Greek 16 year olds...
