I think as PNP just said acknowledging the mistake is the first sign of ideally moving forward.

It sounds like in so many words there's huge regret over the Jose appointment, talk of DNA and hiring a coach who plays attacking football is pretty damning. Though the club themselves has lost its DNA, not just the managerial hire.

A lot of fixing and making amends is needed but I'm glad it looks like Levy is at least seeing some mistakes.

EDIT: Though talking about how important it is to have fans back and then charging them £60 really sort of makes him look stupid.

First things first, don't listen to the angries in our Twitter comments for suggestions of how to run the club

interesting that he made no mention of Jose or his coaching team!

Still, there are some decent words being expressed here. Now we give him a chance to correct the direction we are heading in.

At this stage I think even most of the ardent Levy supporters would acknowledge that words need to be backed up by actions. The pressure on him this summer is immense.

If he doesn’t get the managerial appointment right (that’s a bit more long term because we won’t know if it’s the right person for a number of years, but obviously decision needs to be made sharpish) and handle the Kane situation correctly - by which I mean either getting him on board to stay or getting mega bucks and spending the money wisely - then I think it’ll be the final straw for many.

Of course the events of the last few weeks have already tipped a lot of fans over the edge anyway, so he’s got a lot of ground to make up.

Don't forget they live in a world of earning thousands of pound each week. £60 is literally pennies to them. Kane can buy 5 new BMW's every week and not notice. This is not a world most of us inhabit. Having said that it's not difficult to appreciate the average fans spending power and what impact £60 has to them. Even fans talk of supporting their club by buying a polyester shirt worth about £3 for £60 pounds.

Yeah I think the club has become extremely out of touch with the fans. I doubt Levy is oblivious to the fact he charges the highest prices in Europe and he’ll know £60 to the average person is a lot of money, to me it is anyway, more so when we’re just about coming out from a pandemic. I didn’t even bother applying for a ticket for tonight out of sheer disappointment for the way they’ve approached the game with pricing. A shame they couldn’t have taken a leaf out of Burnley’s book for this, would’ve been a good start to winning over some of the fanbase.

I'm not going to read the replies, because I know there's going to be at least one monumental bellend who couldn't read a room if it was in large type

Nike shareholders wouldn't sign off on paying the
extra tuppence per day the kids demanded.

Remember a few seasons ago when our GK kit was the same as Barca's training kit?

Nike take the piss every year - not out of us, but out of 99% of the teams they make kits for

BBC London said Lamela got a 6 month driving ban.
Caught speeding on the A10, which took his points total over the line.
