We have been competing for Promotion all season KIO. We were top of the table at one stage and have been in the top 6 for long periods Even now we are 8 points off 6th with a game in hand. In the end we will probably fail but that does not mean we have not been competing for it.

I like how Steve Stone comes across. I've liked him each time he is interviewed, between the other Top men leaving.

I can't see how we would get Moss. If we do: Wow! That would be a stunning signing. The players that guy have picked out, on Scottish budgets, is really, really impressive. As I say, Surely he would have no interest. If it happens. :emoticon-0137-clapp

If we get a quality SD in to take care of player and youth development strategy and recruitment, then surely we really only need a quality 1st team Coach rather than the traditional Manager function that we've had in the past. Essentially a lot of the distractions would be removed and it becomes "simply" tactics, coaching and team selection etc. I'd imagine that opens up the potential candidate list a lot wider.

Phew - thank goodness for that!!!

Agree JMF. Looks like we'll know soon and then can recruit a Head Coach as well.

On a technical note, the original meaning of 'recruit' was 'start over again'. It feels a bit like that, for better or worse. <laugh>

He is going to be called a Head Coach rather than manager, HMQC.

And if no decent candidates apply, as they don't wish to work with a DOF, there's always the 'go-to', fallback option of Ricky Martin to promote. Again. <whistle>
;)
If Ricky Martin gets in we will be peppered with crappy puns.
