Sadly for you the spoonfed chart you are relying on can barely show that recent measurements are above trend.

You do realise the measurements I quoted are from the same website.

Lol!!

Look at the detail and you might realise that the recent period is above trend.

You have made it absolutely clear that you have been spoonfed the trend chart for key West when the nearest recording station for Miami and Atlantic city is Virginia key.
It's the only reason you would be showing me a trend chart from the wrong location and from a chart that cannot prove our disprove the original claim.

Did you follow the link from WUWT to get the Key West trend chart? You did, didn't you?
What do you think happens to the trend line if recent measurements are above the average trend?

Much of this comes down to the annual average sea levels over the decade 2006-2016 that has led scientists to believe the rate of sea level rise is increasing. As shown in this chart using measurements from Miami

I believe it was Phdee who tried to use newspaper stories. He's under the very misguided view that this is where anyone who disagrees with him gets their information from. He's wrong, the guardian stories are second hand and like all newspapers, prone to exaggeration to get attention.

Have you ever checked up on Phdee's links and assertions, they have very good merit and enough in them to throw doubt on the mainstream waffle.

I spent a month or more a while back in heated debate with him.

I no longer have the time or inclination after repeatedly finding they led to fake/ flawed claims, not always but often enough to decide I was wasting my time engaging in a serious way.

Every so often I'll pick one up and give an analysis, but mostly I'm just triggering another storm of disinformation that's freely available on the conspiracy sites.
