    Gotta be honest I was reeled in on this one happening hook line and sinker!! It's in the nature of a football fan to be stupidly optimistic I think (even when we don't admit it). If I take the toon goggles off, we've sold arguably our best player for a snip in the current market, brought in a loan and stuck a low bid in for a player who didn't really fancy it anyways. I have a nasty feeling we've been here before. although I hope to god I'm wrong, I think this is our lot for this window!

    Cant help but think if this guy became available you would have competition for his signature so maybe it was to keep the peasants from revolting
