Sure, maybe not. The charge is extremely vague: "The 25-year-old is accused of using threatening and/or abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour in or around the match officials' changing room at Stamford Bridge." There is a big difference between "insulting words" and "threatening behaviour" so it will be interesting to learn the details. Even being upset would not excuse the latter.

P.S There was NO evidence for Suarez. No-one seen/heard/lip Red it and there was no audio/visual evidence of it either unlike Terry. The FA make this abundantly clear in the report. It was one mans word against anothers and the FA, on the balance of good old probabilities, chose to believe Evra. I realise no-one else but Liverpool fans have actually read the full report though so lets stop spreading misinformation.

I'm happy Chelsea have had a snipe back at the FA to show that clubs are capable of pointing the finger at their personnel as well as getting hammered for actions of their players.
They might also genuinly believe he did make the comments.

May as well respond with the accurate statement that you have only been a Chelsea fan since 2003 and before that you worshipped United. Like all modern day Chelsea fans. Because thats the game we are clearly playing here
