RVP doesn't create many chances for himself and I think his second against Swansea is clouding your judgement. His finishing is ruthless but the chances far more often than not come from players getting a shot at goal in the box. Soldado's similar in that regard, he finishes a lot of the chances he gets and it's not just the easy ones, he scores plenty that others would need another 5/10 attempts at to score. Suarez is someone who can create something out of nothing, so's Bale, so's Rooney(on his day), RVP? Not so much but if a defender takes their eye off him and allows him to get into the position he wants then he'll punish you.

What does Giroud do? Well he's good in the air, good with his back to goal, decent shooting from outside the box but misses quite a few sitters. Not sure how he's relatable to Soldado.

Trust me, Soldado is quite capable of creating chances for himself. I think he will be one of the top players in the Premiership this season.

Mourinho is not everybody's cup of tea, and fair enough. Still, I do not see how he shows less (or more) class than anybody else, however. SAF was a terrible loser, Moyes complaining that the draw is rigged, Rodgers looks for excuses all the time, Wenger just being Wenger...It really depends on which team you support as to who you find classless. :)

Mourinho is at least guaranteed to make the PL more interesting.

and you paid it back to us after it was found Mikels agent had forged his name on some documents and he had always been Chelseas player.
still why ruin a good story with the truth ?

<doh>, he was an lyn oslo player not a chelsea one when he joined us.

Yes but chelsea had first option after he trained with us while at Oslo and it was also the agent involved in the george graham bungs scandal that helped united get mikel

Really?! Got a link for that, never heard about that before.

It was a small paragraph in the times just after he came to chelsea but i think if you google mikel there is some info on this .The other agent was John ****tu
who disappeared and started a kidnap hunt

In a further twist, it has emerged that Spurs have approached Chelsea with a view to buying a player - thought to be Juan Mata - to replace Bale.
Spurs were close to signing the Brazilian winger Willian last week before a late bid from Chelsea beat them to his signature.
Losing out to their London rivals has delayed Spurs finalising the departure of Bale, and Mata had been identified as a potential replacement.
Spurs are frustrated that Chelsea are refusing to sell a player who could now find himself behind Willian in the Stamford Bridge pecking order.

If this is true then.. wow, just WOW.

There's no way that you'd sell us Mata, Ronnie. I think it's journalistic join-the-dots.

It's been suggested Mata might be offered to Utd as part of a deal for Rooney. Also unlikely, but I'm not sure Mata's face fits at Chelsea under Mourinho, despite his efforts last season, without which Chelsea's defence of the Europa League would have already started.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Mata leave Chelsea, but they won't sell him to us and I think they'd me making a massive mistake in letting him join Utd, too.
Superb player and he virtually carried them for big chunks of last season. He'd be perfect for us and van Persie would love to have him in the same side as him.
No way Chelsea will be that silly, surely?

There's no chance of Mata leaving. Contract talks are set to resume in October (delayed). Willian deal just means Schurrle will get less playing time and Moses/Ba/Marin and possibly Mikel will be off. Also think KDB/Oscar will play deeper. Mata, Oscar and Hazard will only play half the amount of time they did last season and be a lot fresher. It's probably the first time in 2/3 years Chelsea have a squad size capable of competing on all four fronts. Had to tank loads of matches in the 2011/12 season.

Really?! Got a link for that, never heard about that before.

Of course you hadn't. Why would the press print a story that puts United in negative light and clears Chelsea of any wrongdoing? Kakuta saga all over again, doesn't suit their agenda.

Marin is already out on loan, I believe, at Sevilla
